Welcome to PhantasmagoriaAbout!
My name is Ludwig (aka 'Me') and I'm the person behind "PhantasmagoriaOnline". This website was born out of sheer, unadulterated hatred for what the Internet has become as of recent years, and of pure love for the heart and soul people have put into making it a fun place again. The indie web reignited the spark that was missing from my Internet browsing and eventually inspired me to get to creating something cool myself.
The site's aesthetics are obviously inspired by Windows 7 and Frutiger Aero. Although I believe it's been a little overdone and misinterpreted, I did try to put my own twist on it and make elements like this very box a little more subtle and not overly glowy and eye-straining.
It's just something I'd feel at home with.

After screwing around with very basic HTML and slapping some Sonic gifs on it, I was pretty much done altogether with HTML. But as is always,
boredom and desinterest get the better of me.
I always wished I could own something as cool as the websites on Neocities, so I did some research, slapped sadgrl.online's oh so popular purple layout on my site and began editing.
What started as just a way to waste time with the original "Sonic the Hedgehog 4EVER" website seen here, turned into something far bigger than I initially planned.
I didn't really have a set goal in mind either, I just did what looked right to me.
Then I thought: None but like 5 people have ever seen my drawings. Maybe I could use this to showcase them..?
Yeah, by then it was fucking over I had to finish this whole thing.
I didn't really expect much of anyone to visit anyways, but if I was going to start a page I'd have to do it properly.
Boredom mixed itself with the infinite time of a summer vacation and you've got a match either made in heaven or hell...
One of my only goals for the website was simply to make it look appealing. It needed a certain spark that would make the site stand out in a thumbnail, and I believe having the MadobeOnline greeting in the Home page managed to do just that.

I didn't bother making an "About Me" page since who gaf honestly lol.
Maybe I'll do one sometime in the future if I get really motivated.
I hope you've enjoyed what little there is on PhantasmagoriaOnline as of now. I've put a lot of blood, sweat and man bazooka juice into making this site the best it can be even if it's just a tiny passion project.
As stated in the Home page, I promise to keep working on it until I'm satisfied with the result.
